Terms of use

Last updated 4 October 2026 · Applies to the Deno app for iPhone and Apple Watch

These terms are short on purpose. Deno is made by Burak Özaslan (“we”). By using Deno you agree to them.

The licence

Deno is licensed to you through the App Store under Apple's Licensed Application End User Agreement (the standard EULA). These terms add to it. Where the two differ, the EULA governs the licence.

Provided as is

Deno is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. We work to keep it reliable, but we can't promise it is free of errors or that it runs without interruption. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of Deno.

Not a medical device

Deno is not a medical device. It records what you enter and shows it back to you. It gives no medical advice, makes no diagnosis and suggests no treatment. The pregnancy weekly pages are general information about a stage of pregnancy, not about any one pregnancy, and never advice. Deno does not replace a doctor, midwife or other healthcare professional, and it is not meant for emergencies.

Your data

Your data lives on your devices and, if you turn it on, in your own iCloud. We have no copy of it, so we cannot recover it for you. Export is free in the app at any time (You → Export). The privacy policy describes exactly where your information goes.

Purchases and subscriptions

Fair use

Please don't misuse Deno, for example by trying to break its security or by using partner sharing to access someone's information without their consent.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the current version.
