Baby and pregnancy tracker for iPhone

Two taps. Back to the baby.

Deno is a quiet place for your baby's first years, and for the pregnancy before them. Log a feed, a diaper or sleep with one hand, even at 3 a.m. with the brightness all the way down. Deno shows what you logged and nothing else: no advice, no scores, no nudges about gaps.

Deno's companion, a small drawn baby in a mint onesie with a curl of hair and rosy cheeks, wakes under a butter-coloured blanket, stretches, waves and settles, then rests.

Two taps, one hand

What you log most sits in the bottom half of the screen, within reach of your thumb. Timers keep running when you lock the phone, close the app or restart it.

  • Feed

    FeedLeftRightBottlePump

Left or right with a timer, bottle (formula, expressed or donor milk), pump, and tube feeds for NICU stays.

  • Diaper

    DiaperWetDirtyBoth

Wet, dirty or both, in one tap. Extra details stay out of the way unless you want them.

  • Sleep

    SleepWoke up

One tap starts the timer, one tap stops it. Or add a sleep afterwards.

Growth too: weight, length and head as your own dots, with no percentiles.

The whole day at a glance

Today is one card: sleep, feeds and diapers side by side on a timeline, with quiet totals at the end. History lets you edit, delete or undo.

  • Sleep as bars, feeds and diapers as marks, each at the time it happened.
  • Last feed, last diaper, last sleep in plain numbers, like “1h 14m · L”. Nothing changes colour as time passes.
  • Lock Screen and Dynamic Island. A running timer shows as a Live Activity. Free.
Deno's Today screen: a card with three lanes for sleep, feeds and diapers across the day, the companion asleep under a blanket, a running sleep timer with a Woke up button, the last feed, diaper and sleep, and tiles for Feed, Diaper, Woke up, Growth and Note.

Patterns in plain words

A week of logs in one view, with recurring times softly marked, and a few sentences about what happened.

Night sleep started between 10:40 PM and 11:15 PM on 6 of the last 7 nights.

Past tense, with a count. Deno never predicts, never grades a week and never compares your baby with anyone else's.

The Patterns view in Deno: seven day rows from Monday to Sunday with sleep bars, feed dots and diaper dots on a shared time axis, softly marked recurring times, and three sentences such as: The first morning feed came between 6:10 AM and 6:50 AM on 7 of the last 7 days.

A journal worth keeping

Write a few lines, add photos, and a year later the day comes back to you.

Your journal stays private, even when you share the rest with a partner, unless you choose to share it too.

Deno's Journal with three short entries: First real smile, right at me. Slept on Grandma's lap the whole afternoon. At the 3 a.m. feed a tiny hand held my finger.

Your pregnancy, week by week

Count your weeks from your due date or from the first day of your last period. Every week has a drawn fruit and a calm page about what develops around that week, with its sources.

Week 12

About the length of an apricot.

Another week

  • The due date shows as a window, never as a countdown.
  • When the baby arrives, the pregnancy becomes the baby's profile right where it is, and your journal and settings come along.
  • Pause the weekly pages whenever you need to. The week display and the fruit go away at once, and your notes stay.
  • General information, about a stage of pregnancy rather than any one pregnancy, and never advice. Deno is not a medical device.
Deno's This week screen in pregnancy: a drawn apricot, Week 12, 12 weeks 3 days, About the length of an apricot, due around April 8 to 22, and a card titled Bones begin to harden, with a strip of fruits for the weeks around it.

Made for the night

Night mode dims everything and keeps the screen still. A small companion keeps you company: its mood follows what is going on, like a running timer or the night, and it never keeps score. Make it quieter or switch it off.

  • Readable with the brightness all the way down.
  • Notifications start off, and only ever concern a timer you started.

At night the companion rests: dim, still, eyes closed.

Apple Watch, with Deno Pro

Log from your wrist

Feed, diaper and sleep in two taps or fewer, without reaching for your phone. A running feed timer shows its time, with Stop and a switch to the other side.

The watch app talks only to your iPhone, directly, and keeps nothing of its own.

Deno on Apple Watch: Feed, with Left, Right, Bottle and Pump buttons.
Deno on Apple Watch: a feed timer on the right side at 12 minutes 39 seconds, with Stop and Switch to left.

Privacy

What you log stays yours.

No account and no servers of ours. Everything you keep in Deno, photos included, stays on your iPhone and, if you turn it on, in your own iCloud.

Data Not Collected

We have no servers, so there is nowhere for your information to go. Deno talks only to Apple: your iCloud and the App Store.

  • On your iPhone

Feeds, diapers, sleep, growth, pregnancy dates, journal entries and photos are stored on your device.

  • In your own iCloud

If you turn it on, a copy lives in your private iCloud so your devices stay in step. Apple runs it. We cannot read it.

  • Photos included

Journal photos follow the same rule: on your iPhone and in your own iCloud, nowhere else.

  • Never shared with third parties

Deno sends your information to no one: not to us, not to anyone else. Nothing is sold, because we never have it.

  • Never used for ads

Not for advertising, not for profiling, not for training anything. There are no ads in Deno.

  • No account, no analytics

Nothing to sign up for. No analytics, tracking or advertising code in the app. This website has none either, and sets no cookies.

Monthly, yearly or once for life. Family Sharing is on: one purchase covers your family.

Coming soon to the App Store

Deno is nearly ready. Questions in the meantime: hello@deno-baby.app

The companion crawls in along a line and stops to look at you. In the app, this crawl is what you see while Deno is busy, for example while it builds an export.
